In our middle school, students are immersed in STEAM and have multiple outlets and opportunities for specialization and exploration.

All 7th graders take a dedicated STEAM course for a term in which they engage in design thinking to solve real-world challenges. Student juggle and assemble knowledge from their math, science and art courses to create functional proto-types in various media that they can then test and evaluate.

STEAM is naturally integrated in their Science and Math courses and those who take 3D art use CAD to design and 3D print artistic creations. [Include CAD and photos of rings from Vogt] Both 7th and 8th graders are able to take year-long robotics courses. 8th graders are also able to specialize in computer science with App and Game design and Computer Applications courses.
